About the Manitoba camp:
This project takes place in Berens River, Manitoba, a Native reserve on the east side of Lake Winnipeg accessible by bush plane or ferry. The participants do volunteer work at the local Roman Catholic church such as repairs, and also tutor the locals in English, math, and other subjects. The project also includes an excursion day to islands in Lake Winnipeg.
